Job Title: DEMAND PLANNING ANALYST

Job Summary:
The Demand Planning analyst engages in a variety of tasks such as creating and maintaining forecast models for customers, as well as incorporating business intelligence and forecasting information gathered from other areas such as sales, marketing, finance, procurement, and supply. This role will lead the discussion each month for meeting customer demand with counterparts in the organization and will participate in the monthly S&OP process.
Essential Functions/Key Responsibilities:
- Developing demand forecasts at SKU level based on historical trends
- Using and maintaining the Infor DP database
- Participate in the development of statistical forecast models to optimize market demand without negatively affecting customer service levels.
- Assists in the maintenance of Safety Stocks at Warehouse level
- Report Development in both Excel and Power BI
Job Skills and Qualifications/Knowledge and Skills:
· Bachelor’s degree in business with a specialty in Economics and/or Marketing
· Minimum of 3 years’ experience
Soft Skills:
- Ability to translate numbers and data into reliable insight
- Understanding of seasonality and peak demand times
- Accountability
- Extremely detail-oriented
Technical Skills:
- Understanding of statistical modeling
- Excellent database and Excel skills
- Understanding of applicable computer systems, such as Microsoft Office, specifically Power BI and Excel, and demand/supply planning software
