Catalog Management Executive

A Catalog Management Analyst is a professional responsible for overseeing and maintaining product catalogs within a business or e-commerce platform. The role involves managing and organizing product information, ensuring accuracy, and optimizing the presentation of products to enhance the customer experience. Here are some key responsibilities and tasks associated with the role:
  • Data Management:
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date product information in the catalog.
    • Ensure consistency in product data, including descriptions, specifications, and pricing.
    • Regularly update product information to reflect changes in inventory, pricing, or promotions.
  • Catalog Organization:
    • Categorize and organize products in a logical and user-friendly manner.
    • Implement and manage product taxonomy and attributes for efficient catalog navigation.
    • Create and update product hierarchies and classifications.
  • Quality Assurance:
    • Conduct regular audits of the catalog to identify and correct errors or discrepancies.
    • Ensure that product images, descriptions, and specifications meet quality standards.
    • Collaborate with relevant teams to resolve any data discrepancies or issues.\
  • Vendor Collaboration:
    • Coordinate with vendors to obtain accurate and complete product information.
    • Work with vendors to resolve issues related to product data, pricing, or availability.
  • SEO and PPC Optimizations
o  Coordinate with the SEO and PPC team to write engaging content that is optimized for SEO and PPC. 
o  Work on Titles and Propose Infographics that make our listings stand out. 
  • System Integration:
    • Collaborate with IT teams to integrate and synchronize the catalog with other systems (e.g., inventory management, order processing).
    • Ensure seamless data flow between the catalog and other business applications.
  • Optimization and Analysis:
    • Analyze catalog performance and user engagement metrics.
    • Identify opportunities to optimize product listings for better visibility and sales.
    • Implement best practices for search engine optimization (SEO) within the catalog.
  • Compliance:
    • Ensure that product listings comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
    • Stay informed about industry standards and best practices related to catalog management.
  • Training and Documentation:
    • Train and educate team members on catalog management processes and best practices.
    • Develop and maintain documentation for catalog management procedures.
  • Customer Support:
    • Respond to customer inquiries and issues related to product information.
    • Collaborate with customer support teams to address catalog-related concerns.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    • Propose and implement process improvements to enhance catalog management efficiency.
    • Stay informed about new technologies and trends in catalog management.
Requirements :
  • Min 1 Years experience working for Product Based company doing business in USA (AMAZON / EBAY)
  • Ability to work with EXCEL for Analyzing data and reports
  • Experience listing items on Marketplaces (AMAZON, EBAY)
  • Experience with Magento is a PLUS
  • Able to create/optimize Product listing on website and marketplaces,
